Product Care and Limited Warranty Policy

At My Cheer Box we take pride in creating handcrafted products designed for real world team use. Because our cheer boxes are individually built from real wood and are frequently transported used outdoors and exposed to demanding sideline environments proper care is important to help maintain their appearance and performance.

WRITTEN WARRANTY

My Cheer Box does not provide a written manufacturer warranty with our cheer boxes or accessories.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies that may be provided to a customer under applicable law.

My Cheer Box may choose to provide a complimentary repair replacement part replacement product or other accommodation as a customer service courtesy. Any complimentary accommodation is provided at the sole discretion of My Cheer Box and does not create or establish an ongoing written warranty guarantee or entitlement to future repairs or replacements.

HANDCRAFTED PRODUCT VARIATIONS

Each My Cheer Box is individually handcrafted from real wood.

Because wood is a natural material and our products are assembled by hand minor differences may occur between individual boxes. These may include reasonable variations in:

Wood grain and color

Surface texture

Edge appearance

Fit and alignment

Hardware placement

Minor dimensions

Construction and finishing characteristics

Vinyl placement and alignment

These reasonable natural and handcrafted variations are part of the character of a handmade product and are not considered manufacturing defects.

UNFINISHED RAW WOOD BOXES

Boxes purchased with an unfinished raw wood exterior are intended to receive a protective finish before regular use.

We strongly recommend protecting unfinished wood with paint wood sealant polyurethane vinyl wrap or another suitable protective coating.

Raw unfinished wood is naturally more susceptible to:

Surface wear

Scratches and abrasion

Dirt and staining

Moisture absorption

Raised wood fibers

Splintering

Edge wear

Corner damage

End grain deterioration

Minor lifting or separation of exposed wood fibers

Edges corners and exposed end grain are particularly vulnerable because these areas receive frequent contact during transportation setup storage and regular use.

Wear deterioration or cosmetic damage resulting from continued use of an unfinished box without an appropriate protective finish is considered normal wear and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Such wear is not eligible for complimentary repair or replacement from My Cheer Box.

VINYL WRAPPED BOXES

Vinyl wrap provides a durable decorative and protective exterior finish but it should not be considered an impact proof or permanent protective coating.

Vinyl may experience normal wear from transportation repeated handling stacking dragging contact with hard or abrasive surfaces moisture outdoor use or accidental impact.

Examples of normal vinyl wear may include:

Minor scratches or scuffs

Small edge lifts

Corner wear

Surface abrasions

Marks caused by transportation or storage

Wear around frequently handled areas

Damage caused by impact or contact with another object

Normal cosmetic wear to vinyl is not considered a manufacturing defect.

To help extend the life of your vinyl wrap we recommend carrying the box whenever practical and avoiding dragging the box across pavement concrete asphalt gravel or other abrasive surfaces.

CHEER BOX COVERS

My Cheer Box offers protective cheer box covers designed to help extend the life and appearance of your cheer box and its customized exterior.

A cheer box cover provides an additional layer of protection that may help reduce minor bumps scuffs scratches dirt sun exposure and light weather exposure during transportation use and storage.

Our covers do not guarantee that a cheer box or its exterior finish will be protected from damage. Impacts improper handling excessive moisture dragging crushing or other conditions may still result in damage even when a cover is being used.

A protective cover should be considered an additional care and damage mitigation tool rather than a substitute for proper handling transportation and storage.

Cheer box covers are especially useful during the offseason and for long term storage because they help reduce exposure to dust sunlight surface contact and other environmental conditions that may affect the appearance of the box over time.

For customers looking to protect their investment and preserve their customized exterior for as long as possible we strongly recommend using a properly fitted cheer box cover whenever the box is being transported or stored.

MOISTURE AND OUTDOOR USE

My Cheer Box products are commonly used outdoors. However they are constructed primarily from wood and should not be treated as waterproof products.

Avoid prolonged exposure to rain standing water sprinklers wet grass excessive humidity or other sources of moisture.

If a box becomes wet allow it to completely dry before storing it.

Boxes should not be stored outdoors or in locations where they will remain exposed to moisture extreme temperature changes or direct weather conditions for extended periods.

Damage caused by prolonged moisture exposure improper storage or failure to allow the product to dry is not considered a manufacturing defect.

TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING

Cheer boxes are designed to be transported regularly but normal precautions should be taken.

Whenever possible:

Use the provided handles or approved transportation accessories.

Avoid dropping the box.

Do not throw or slide the box.

Avoid dragging exposed wood or vinyl surfaces across abrasive surfaces.

Secure the box during vehicle transportation.

Do not place excessive weight on folded panels or unsupported components.

Do not allow the box to repeatedly strike curbs stairs walls vehicles or other hard objects.

Damage resulting from impact dragging improper transportation or rough handling is considered accidental or normal use damage rather than a manufacturing defect.

STORAGE

Store your cheer box in a clean dry environment.

Whenever possible store the box:

Indoors

Away from standing water

Away from direct prolonged sunlight

Away from excessive heat or humidity

In a position that prevents heavy objects from resting against panels hardware or vinyl surfaces

Boxes equipped with folding components should be stored in a manner that does not place unnecessary pressure on hinges panels or hardware.

For offseason or long term storage we recommend using a properly fitted My Cheer Box cover to help reduce exposure to dust sunlight minor surface contact and environmental conditions that may affect the box or customized exterior over time.

HARDWARE AND MOVING COMPONENTS

Customers should periodically inspect hinges screws handles wheels feet lid hardware and other attached components.

Normal use and transportation may occasionally require hardware to be tightened or adjusted.

Routine inspection tightening adjustment and maintenance of hardware are considered normal product maintenance.

Continued use of a product with noticeably loose damaged or improperly functioning hardware may result in additional damage.

MODIFICATIONS AND THIRD PARTY ACCESSORIES

Alterations or modifications made after purchase may affect the performance and durability of the product.

This includes drilling cutting sanding routing adding hardware installing aftermarket accessories modifying hinges changing handles or wheels or otherwise altering the original construction.

My Cheer Box is not responsible for damage resulting from customer modifications or installation of third party accessories.

NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR

Cheer boxes are functional products that are routinely transported handled stood upon and used in outdoor athletic environments.

Normal signs of use should be expected over time.

Normal wear may include cosmetic scratches minor dents edge wear scuffs vinyl wear surface marks and other appearance changes that develop through normal transportation and use.

Normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.

MISUSE AND EXCESSIVE LOADS

My Cheer Box products should only be used for their intended purpose.

Damage caused by misuse abuse excessive loads jumping from excessive heights intentional impact improper modifications or use inconsistent with the intended purpose of the product is not considered a manufacturing defect.

REPORTING A PRODUCT CONCERN

If you believe your product has a manufacturing or workmanship issue please contact My Cheer Box as soon as possible after discovering the concern.

We may request:

Your order number

Photographs of the product

Photographs showing the affected area

Photographs of the packaging when shipping damage is suspected

A description of how and when the issue occurred

Additional information necessary for us to evaluate the concern

Providing this information allows our team to determine whether the issue appears to involve workmanship shipping damage normal wear accidental damage or another cause.

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Customers are responsible for inspecting all shipments promptly upon delivery, including both individual parcel shipments and palletized freight shipments.

Before accepting delivery, customers should inspect the exterior packaging for visible signs of damage, including crushed, torn, punctured, wet, opened, shifted, or otherwise damaged cartons, wrapping, strapping, or pallets.

For palletized and freight shipments, customers are expected to inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible. Any visible damage, shortage, or irregularity should be clearly noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before the shipment is accepted. Photographs should also be taken before the shipment is unpacked or moved whenever possible.

If significant visible damage is present, customers should contact My Cheer Box as soon as possible for guidance before refusing the shipment.

For individual parcel shipments, customers should inspect the exterior packaging upon receipt and inspect the product as soon as reasonably possible after opening the package.

If shipping damage is discovered, customers must retain all packaging materials and provide clear photographs of:

• The damaged product

• The exterior shipping packaging

• The interior packaging and protective materials

• Any visible damage to the shipping carton, pallet, wrapping, or strapping

• The shipping label and any freight or delivery labels, when applicable

This documentation may be required for My Cheer Box to investigate the damage and pursue a claim with the shipping carrier.

Failure to inspect a shipment, document visible damage, retain the packaging, or promptly report shipping damage may limit our ability to verify the cause of the damage or successfully pursue a carrier claim. In those circumstances, My Cheer Box cannot guarantee that a complimentary repair or replacement will be available.

Concealed shipping damage that could not reasonably have been identified during delivery inspection should be reported to My Cheer Box as soon as it is discovered, along with photographs of the product and all available packaging.

COMPLIMENTARY REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS

From time to time My Cheer Box may provide a complimentary repair replacement component replacement product shipping accommodation or other solution as a customer service courtesy.

A complimentary accommodation does not create a continuing obligation to provide additional repairs or replacements for the same product and does not establish a written warranty.

Future concerns will be reviewed individually based on the circumstances condition of the product cause of the issue and available documentation.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for properly caring for maintaining transporting storing and protecting their My Cheer Box products.

By purchasing and using a My Cheer Box product the customer acknowledges that handcrafted wood products and exterior finishes will naturally experience wear over time and that proper care can significantly extend the useful life and appearance of the product.
